182 pages including index. Based upon the work of the Medical Research Council Unit for Research on Occupational Aspects of Ageing which was attached to the Department of Psychology at the University of Liverpool between 1959 and 1963. The study of ageing and of comparative function at given ages is of great practical concern and the analyses given here are the product of physical and psychological tests on 540 normal adult subjects from the population of Liverpool and its environs. One of the most useful contributions made by the present study is the compilation of a table of norms of the level of performance which can be expected from people of different ages.
