Remington 1847-1918 was a Philadelphia-based pharmacist professor of pharmacy and medicinal manufacturer whose present work transformed the profession and not only is his textbook still the primary source but also the Remington Honor Medal established upon his death is awarded each year in recognition of distinguished service in American pharmacy.
