Las encuadernaciónes con ligeros roces en bordes y esquinasque han sido restaurados. Pequeñas faltas en las cabezas de las lomeras y los tejuelos de algunos tomos. Pero en conjunto la obra presenta un buen aspecto con el interior en excelente estado. Aunque los libros son de dos imprentas presentan un aspecto perfectamente uniforme. Según datos de la actual Académie Nationale de Chirurgie de Francia estas primeras Mémoires de l'Académie Royale de Chirurgie fueron publicadas entre los años 1743-1774.
