New English Paperback. Pbo. Large 8vo. In English and Turkish. 160 p., b/w photos. "For us children the word "country fair" conjured up a place that was "mysterious, exciting and scary", all at the same time. Our excitement would hit the utter zenith when we would catch sight of the black and white posters advertising the "Grand Autumn Fair" as they began to appear on the streets, the bodies of giant plane trees, and on the walls of coffehouses. The fair always started during the first week of October. This was a time for skipping school, for our minds were more on the fair than on our coursework. And even if we didn't manage to skip school that day we would run to the fairground as soon as school was over for the day. The fairgrounds was a place of fun for big men wearing peasent caps, young men with soft, silky mustaches, and children of all ages. But, actually, this was the holiday place for older men.".

"I set out to search for trust. But what I actually found was the pure longing for it. Longings that drew me to a diversity of people, encounters and attitudes towards life, as well as bringing both: hope and failure. As diverse as people are, there is something that connects us all; the longing for something we can trust." The book is about immediacy and honesty. It is reflected in the artistic realisation of the book's layout. The interaction of black and white pictures and watercolourlike portraits forces the viewer time and again to get embark upon new experience. In Longings I want to unite my own and other people's stories as genuinely as possible.

Firma autografa dell'Artista (Signed by the Artist). Perfetto (Mint). . Prima edizione di 50+450 esemplari (First Edition of 50+450 copies). . 10 Days in Kraków is presented in the form between a travelogue and a scrapbook. Although the book doesn't have a content page, within the seemingly fragmented structure, three chapters unfold themselves – War, City, and Connection (from there to here / from I to you). The book consists of snapshots, diaries and found images I created or collected during my 10 days stay in the city, as well as fragments (film stills and text excerpts) from three existing works: The Sky Crawlers (2008, directed by Mamoru Oshii), Invisible Cities (written by Italo Calvino) and 2 or 3 Things I Know about Her (1967, directed by Jean-Luc Godard). The appropriation of three existing works also distinguishes the three-chapter structure of the book. The fragments from three works that created at different times and backgrounds are carefully intertwined with the materials I collected in Kraków during the 10 days. These elements sometimes mingle intensively, while other times, structured relatively loosely. Mediated by the rhythm of editing and sequencing, the fragments gradually weaved out a vague and open narrative.
