There are also instructions in digging a pond both fresh and salt water fist and 8 pages of recipes for cooking fish including pickling salmon cooking eel after the Italian manner pike with a pudding in its belly dressing perch after the Dutch manner also a pickled mushroom recipe. If likewise Sir Rowland you should at the same time chuse to part with your Huntsman and &Whipper In if you could recommend them I would be glad of them with the hounds. ."<br/><br/>With Sir Rowland's retained copy of his non-commital reply in part: "I shall most certainly dispose of them and should they not stay in my county I will most certainly acquaint your Lordship with it so that you may have my Refusall ." bottom portion of leaf torn away with loss to signature.<br/><br/>Correspondence concerning hounds from the second earl of Darlington.
