1938301962Boston: Planograph Printing by Spaulding-Moss Company 1938. Illustrated with maps photographic illustrations etc. 116pp. 1 vols. 8vo. Silver cloth spine and blue cloth a little faded toward the fore-edge text clean and bright. Near fine. Illustrated with maps photographic illustrations etc. 116pp. 1 vols. 8vo. Rare and possibly unrecorded. It's not known how many copies of this book were printed but it can't have been more than a handful. Alas the attention paid to the quality of the illustrations was not directed towards the font which is simply reproduced typescript.

The relaxed nature of Meyer's cruise in the summer of 1937 is reflected in the text. The skipper was perfectly happy to resort to power whenever he met with a still day and many were beset by fog. However he remains cheerful throughout and provides much information and any local color he met with at the stops en route which included Christmas Cove Lunenburg Halifax St. Peters and Baddeck. The narrative pauses for a chapter "Wherein the Author Becomes Historical" Not in Toy; not in Morris & Howland; no copies on OCLC; not in KVK Planograph Printing by Spaulding-Moss Company unknown
