With the trade ticket is University Book Store of Kuala Lumpur on front paste-down. The dustwrapper is reversible with a different design for the same title on reverse.

The cover roundel is designed by David Gentleman: 'This was one of the first jobs that I was ever paid for by anybody and it was the first thing I did for Penguins…I did a rough in my digs in Battersea at the time and posted it back to [Tanya] Schmoller or John [Curtis] at Penguins and they sent it back more or less instantly and I engraved it at the next weekend'.
