Opera pseudo-ariostea: sono in totale 242 ottave distribuite in cinque canti, seguite dalla Canzone ''Per la partenza di Ginevra'', preceduta da un proemio di Luigi Maria Rezzi. "Nel secolo scorso diverse polemiche furono fatte pro e contro l'atttribuzione di questo lavoro all'Ariosto, e significatamente in merito all'annunzio del manoscritto originale, che doveva essere stato scritto di pugno di messer Lodovico...Nel sec. XX, e precisamente qualche anno fa, forse perché quasi più nessuno crede a tale attribuzione ed autenticità, sempre il manoscritto del Rinaldo Ardito è stato, da un libraio, munificamente donato alla R.
