This second volume brings together texts written from 1948 to 1953 primarily Camus' responses to the controversies which followed the publication of L'Homme révolté. Actuelles III or his Algerian Chronicles bring together Camus' stories about his native country from his first articles in 1939 when few people were interested in this country until 1959 shortly before his death.
