Three volumes of 3 volume set - conditions same for all unless noted: Bright red cloth on boards with sharp black lettering and linings on front spine and back and bright gilt titling on spine. Publishers device in black on backs and ""Copyright Edition"" on front. Books are tight and square relatively sharp-cornered and free of major flaws or markings other than: red on spines is mildly faded; Volume 1 has minor bubbling to cloth on front only visible from angle; Volume 3 has some signs of prior moisture; all three have name of prior owner stamped on FFEP but faint - Sally Holmes Morse. Books were bought from her estate. Volume I: The Bastille; Volume II: The Constitution; Volume III: The Guillotine. We have Sartor Resartus and Hero Worship from same author same series as well available. Nice copies - no date but Hero Worship has 1897 as date. Assumed 1895 -.</p> Chapman & Hall hardcover
