Jacket presents well with slight chipping and wear to the spine ends and flap fold edges. There is also minor soiling to the jacket which overall if VG.This gorgeous deluxe reprint edition of the Covici Friede Canterbury Tales is both beautifully bound and illustrated. Don't let the copyright page confuse things - this is published by Garden City. Although not the true first after reviewing online photos of the original I greatly prefer the binding choices for this Garden City edition.
