Stark verschattete Gesichtshälften wie bei unserer Zeichnung findet man im zeichnerischen und graphischen Werk Denons immer wieder, auch die Art und Weise wie er die Schraffuren zeichnet: am Décolletée, an den Schultern, im Hintergrund, findet man ebenso bei gesicherten Zeichnungen von Denon.
