A letter accepting a meeting with President of the Council of the RSA. President of the Council of the RSA so probably the future King of England Edward VII. Sir Joseph Noel Paton 1821-1901 was a Scottish artist illustrator and sculptor. He was also a poet and had an interest in and knowledge of Scottish folklore and Celtic legends. From a autograph book kept by A. P. Watt 1834-1914 founder of A. P. Watt & Son in 1875 the world's first literary agents. Size is 115m x 93mm. Condition is good. Light folding creases.
