Boards are somewhat faded and have several scores. Leather binding is very worn and rubbed. Spine ends are worn and chipped. Leading corners are worn bumped and split. Hinges of both volumes are cracked. Name of former owner is penned on reverse of FEP of both volumes. Foxing at front and rear and at several additional points in both volumes. A few marks on pages. Volume II similar inscriptions of previous owners 698 pages 509-538 have a stain to the extreme edge of the pages towards the top. An attractive pair of books. .
