Book is in excellent condition in bright green cloth boards with black print at spine. Very light sunning of top edge of boards. Last page has a list of characters of the play and this has notes around it as to possible candidates for all the roles. Also there are three places in the text where there is a song and this is noted with "song" in small print by a previous owner. Page 7 also has a small mark in pen. Text/interior is otherwise clean. Binding is solid and square, covers have sharp corners, exterior shows no blemishes. Dust jacket had edge light edge wear and wear at the folds, chipping at top and bottom spine, now wrapped in protective cover. Inscribed with a quote from William Temple and signed "Love, Madeleine." Previous owner's name written above inscription. Publisher's page marked "First Printing" with year.
