The binding is tight and pages are clean. Inside front cover is a bookplate stamped in green ilk endpapers show toning shelf wear bumped corners. Top edge gilt. Outside page edges are untrimmed. The illustrations by Charles Robinson are fantastic a full page color frontispiece plus full page black-and-white illustrations.
