André Galland né à Sedan dans les Ardennes en 1886 et mort en 1965 fils dun fabricant de draps a été fait chevalier de la Légion d'honneur en 1933 achèvement d'une vie de dessinateur et d'illustrateur ayant influé sur son époque. Artiste éclectique il a aussi créé des faïences des affiches et des lithographies qui sont aujourd'hui des pièces recherchées par les collectionneurs. Bacchus est un Dieu romain. C'est le dieu du vin de l'ivresse des débordements notamment sexuels ainsi que de la nature. Priape est un de ses compagnons favoris. Les fêtes de Bacchus s'appellent les bacchanales. unknown
