EXTREMELY RARE alphabetically ordered lexicon of the Accadian prayers in expiation rituals in phonetic (Latin letters) transcription, with English introduction and explanations, a systematic arrangement of the grammatical forms and brief notes on the etymology of the words. Cecil James Mullo Weir (1897-1995) was a Scottish academic and theologian, Professor of Hebrew and Semitic Languages at the University of Glasgow from 1937 until 1968. 135x190mm. XIX+411 pages.
