Reunites for the first time the panels of the great polyptych painted in 1368 by Lorenzo Veneziano for the altar of San Giacomo in Bologna. The altarpiece was dismembered in the 17th century, parts now in public collections in Tours, Bologna, Syracuse and Philadelphia. The altarpiece is displayed alongside other works by both Paolo and Lorenzo Veneziano, allowing us to examine the flourishing of the 14th century Venetian school of painting. Text in French.

Due educatori che hanno ardentemente amato Dio e l'uomo, maestri dei dimenticati che con fede, amore e ragione si sono dedicati al loro apostolato e all'educazione, che con la loro dedizione e i molteplici impegni messi in atto hanno svolto un ruolo di fratellanza mancante nella società. Don Gnocchi, prete per vocazione fin da ragazzo, diventa catechista,insegnante, cappellano e, per voto di carità fatto a Dio sui campi di battaglia, si farà educatore e padre dei mutilatini. Don Milani, prete per scelta povero tra i poveri, lasciando tutto, diventerà maestro per dare la parola agli ultimi, per portare i sudditi a divenire cittadini sovrani, e solo dopo cristiani. Sarà detestato, castigato, esiliato per la sua inquietudine spirituale, sempre alimentata dall'amore per Cristo.
