Il testo è tratto dalla rassegna "Vale Philosophia! Quel che resta dei grandi" tenutasi nella prestigiosa Sala Liberty del Circolo Filologico Milanese a cura di Luciano Tellaroli. Nove incontri con i maggiori filosofi contemporanei italiani chiamati a illustrare grandi filosofi e idee del passato, delineando una sorta di storia delle memorabili conquiste del pensiero filosofico occidentale e di ciò che ne resta, vivo, oggi. Il testo offre un'introduzione alla filosofia di Baruch Spinoza.
