Prima edizione di questa traduzione in francese e commento dell'hegeliano Augusto Vera, celebre filosofo italiano, professore a Parigi, Milano e a Napoli, originario di Amelia in provincia di Terni. Vera mantenenne frequenti rapporti sia con la Società filosofica hegeliana di Berlino che con la cultura letteraria francese e tedesca anche se rimase sempre freddo nei confronti dei rappresentanti della corrente Hegeliana "critica". E' proprio attraerso la traduzione di Vera che il pensiero hegeliano entrò in Francia. Minime macchioline di foxing in alcune pagine dovute alla qualità della carta e per il resto buon esemplare di questa rarissima edizione originale. Testo basilare nella storia della filosofia.
