A small quarto measuring 9 by 6 inches. 162 pages of text with a color frontispiece from a portrait of Hemingway by Alan Phillips. The gold title labels and red top-stain are bright and the title labels have also produced white offsetting to interior of jacket. A proper first with $2.00 price front flap both Scribners "A" and imprint on copyright page ow instead of two at p. 159 line 20. Six of the fourteen short stories appear here for the first time.
