195290629New York: Charles Scribner's Sons 1952. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Good. 21 x 14.5 cm. Octavo. 140pp. Blue cloth in dust jacket. First printing with Scribner's "A" and seal on copyright page. Dust jacket is price clipped. Chip out of jacket spine and small closed tear. Small stain on back of jacket. Book itself in very nice condition with a bit of rubbing at the top and bottom of the jacket. Hanneman's bibliography mentions two variants of the jacket with a blue and olive tone to the photo of Hemingway and the blue toned one being issued first. This copy has brown text on the flaps indicating a Grissom's 1st state jacket. No mention of Hemingway's Nobel Prize on the jacket which was apparently added in Grissom's third state.
