Respectively 306 255 406p. hardbound in matching quarter-calf over 6.5x4 inch boards: five thick raised bands title labels gilt devices and rulings gilt all edges tinted red marbled pastel endsheets. Only the first-mentioned volume is in relatively good shape it is edgeworn with card showing on all extremities and badly rubbed with several small defects otherwise quite sound and free of any ownership or other markings. Second-mentioned has a scortched head with tearing of leather and headband; the inch-long and unsightly "scortch" effect may be discoloration from heavily-applied glue meant to fix the tear; spine is now tight-back to textblock and expect a cracked front hinge. Third-mentioned is in condition similar to first but a full half-inch of lower spine is torn away rim and all exposing the text block.
