Brogger is here given a screenwriting credit alongside Jack Pulman.<br/><br/>Based on the 1850 novel by Charles Dickens.<br/><br/>An adaptation told in an extended flashback with the title character Robin Phillips ruminating on his youth while on a deserted beach with an outstanding cast featuring Richard Attenborough Laurence Olivier Cyril Cusack Wendy Hiller Michael Redgrave and Ron Moody among others.<br/><br/>Nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards.<br/><br/>Shot on location in Suffolk and London England and Malta. <br/><br/>Blue untitled wrappers with die-cut title window in the British style.
