With the Sue Grafton estate bookplate on interior of the front cover and with a letter of authentication from Grafton's husband. 198 pages. Touch of faint foxing to the edges and the first few and last pages else fine in printed wrappers. Sue Grafton 1940 - 2017 is best known as the author of the ‘alphabet series’ which began with A Is for Alibi 1982 featuring private investigator Kinsey Millhone in the fictional city of Santa Teresa CA - roughly modeled after Santa Barbara CA where she made her home. Sadly she did not live long enough to publish the last letter of the alphabet with her final work being Y Is for Yesterday 2017. The daughter of detective novelist C.W. Grafton she said the strongest influence on her crime novels was Ross Macdonald. Before her success with this series she wrote screenplays for television movies. Writer’s Digest Books unknown
