Very good in dark green cloth covered boards with gilt text and decorations on the spine and with the same on the front board to include a Viking ship under sail. The top edge of the text block is gilt. A small octavo measuring 8 by 5 1/4 inches with the first blank end sheet has been removed and rubbing and light wear to the cloth at the corners of the spine and to the tips of the boards. The upper fore tip has been bumped. The last 12 leaves have an ink stain in the lower margins at the extreme edge of the pages. Without a dust jacket. 431 pages of text. A collection of twelve short stories Illustrated with a frontispiece by W. D. Stevens and five plates by various artists. A very handsome and clean copy.
