Fresh overall but foxing on the frontispiece and title leaf. Traces of rubbing. One upper edge slightly bumped over 0.5cm. The figure p. 341 is missing. Captioned tissue guards present. Handsome copy in a full contemporary binding. The plate used for the boards seems particularly well suited to the work cathedral motifs softened by ornaments foliage and other elements.
