Text pages very clean except for offsetting which is considerable in pages facing full page plates. Some plates are foxed in margins. A few tissue guards survive. All edges gilt. The opposition party the nascent Whigs had a medal struck in Poland to commemorate the release of one of their leaders the Earl of Shaftesbury who had been held in the Tower on charges of treason.
