The City-Mallad. 1682. These poems and satires are commentaries of topical subjects that are highly relevant to the seventeenth century. For example 'A Letany for the Fifth of November 1684' discusses the gun-powder plot. This anthology gives an idea of the political and social climate of the late seventeenth century.
