The jacket is immaculate unclipped and unhandled book obviously was read with dj set aside to protect it. Item quite sound clean and unmarked a good to very good copy. Terkel's appreciation runs about fifteen pages; he makes a case for Grapes as contemporary and relevant quotes from Steinbeck's late-30s diaries to show the immense travail that went into its composition.
