The first Penguin Edition reprint of Animal Farm in the original paper wraps from 1952. Both works contains pages of original publisher's advertisements to the rear: fifteen in Brave New World; seven in Animal Farm.There is an ink inscription to the top of the front cover of Animal Farm. In the publisher's original cloth and paper wraps Brave New World with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally generally smart with shelf wear to the extremities. Age toning and spotting to Animal Farm with shelf wear to extremities and joints. Chip to spine head and spine tail cracked at the joint AF. Marks to boards AF. Dust wrapper is sound. Closed tears and chipping to extremities. Loss to top of front and rear wrap and middle and tail of spine. Wrap is age toned with spotting to rear and reverse of wrap. Internally firmly bound. Pages marginally age toned BNW and fully AF with spotting to Animal Farm heaviest to the first and last few.
