FIRST EDITION OF THIS PULITZER-PRIZE WINNING NOVEL THE AUTHOR’S LAST PUBLISHED WORK AS WELL AS BEING TRULY ONE OF HIS BEST NOVELS AND THE WINNER OF HIS SECOND PULITZER. This novel made Faulkner one of only a tiny handful of authors to be awarded the Pulitzer more then once. Unlike many of his earlier works it is a straightforward narration and eschews the complicated literary techniques that were his earlier calling-card for many readers this contributes to it being one of his best works.
