This copy is unnumbered so one of the 150 uncommon SIGNED BY Forgue. Tan cloth covered boards with brown leather spine and gilt lettering and design to front and gilt lettering to the spine. Pages are incut. Near Fine slightly rubbed to rear board and along back spine as well as spine ends. A lovely copy. Norman W. Forgue was an African- American bookmaker typographer and founder of several private presses including At the Sign of the Gargoyle The Black Cat Press The Norman Press and Normandie House. .
