Mais Louis Aragon qui a 77 ans à la publication du livre nous donne là une incroyable leçon de jeunesse : sa vie est un théâtre donnant au passage et de façon parodique une leçon d'écriture à de jeunes gens convaincus d'être moderne et de l'avoir « dépassé ».
