Le pape de l'époque était Benoît XIV, de 5 ans l'ainé de Tencin. Le cardinal aura eu raison car finalement c'est lui qui mourra le 2 mars 1758, deux mois avant le pape. La Condamine fit bien son voyage en Italie. Parti de Paris le 28 décembre 1754, il passa à Lyon avant de voyager en Italie. Peu commun. [374]

Also includes articles on the Y.M.C.A and the place of William and Mary in the new Era. Articles by members of the Philomathean and Phoenix literary societies.
