1971035938Pittsburgh PA: The Pittsburgh Theological Seminary 1971. Second Printing . Spiral Bound. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 123pp. In a spiral binding. Short creases several minor dings and a little wear in places at extremities of volume. Several leaves aren't square with the rest of the text though this defect is largely aesthetic with no effect on the reading of the text. Two of the "spirals" are broken and the covers admit to a couple of tears where they meet the spirals i.e. cone binding but again this has no bearing on the integrity of the binding or the reading of the text. No writing to interior. Volume rated as "fair" because of aforementioned aesthetic defect. Overall still a good clean user friendly copy. In it an attempt to study the ecclesiastical division of New Spain and the difficulties encountered by the religious to the large indigenous population is made; also thoughts to substantiate the relationship between the Western world and the Indian. The province of Chalco played a very important role because of its geographical position.
