The first important work by this pioneer in the X-Ray observation of the movements of the stomach and intestines. A "classic fluorscopic investigation of the alimentary mechanism of the cat." Percy Brown has written that this work "has had such influence upon subsequent diagnosis in man as to be preeminently noteworthy in this consideration."
