Darling Lyons N.Y. / Feb'y 8th 1883 / Adrift in Dixie by Edmund Kirke Author". There are some small soldier stickers or stamps on the front flyleaf and some removed stickers on the rear flyleaves. The binding has been damped at the fore and bottom edges and this affect the text at the front and the rear of the book.
