Signed and inscribed on the front endpaper by Tuskegee Airman Roger C. Terry to Inez along with a second inscription perhaps from another airman but I can't make it out well enough to verify. Photo shows both signatures. A good copy with Wear at the edges and bending and scuffing at the spine tips. Smells lightly of incense from the previous owner. Binding solid and text clean and unmarked. 160 pp. filled with black and white photos of the airmen and their planes. A great little book nicely signed. William Seward served as Secretary of State under Presidents Lincoln and Johnson during the critical Civil War period. He was also a U.S. Senator and Governor of New York. In this speech Seward discuss the merits of disposing of lands held by the Federal government.
