Emmett Holt all told he labored 55 years as a physician even succeeding Holt as professor oof pediatrics at New York Polytechnic Medical School. He was a prolific writer. His Practice of Pediatrics was first issued in 1907. Obituary: American Journal of the Diseases of Children. 1945; 70 5: p.359.
