The subject writes: "A resolution of the Senate of the 29th of January in relation to the number of troops raised for the service of the United States in each State of the Union." 7 of the pages show a table of the number of cavalry forces and their ranks from each state it reads "Report of the cavalry forces of the United States furnished in compliance with letter of Captain George D.
