Cela s’explique par le fait qu’il ont été édités au tout début du XVIIème siècle (1ère éd. en 1617) et n’ont ensuite été repris que 70 ans plus tard. Il faut aussi souligner que l’annotateur de ces arrêts est F. Graverol avocat à Nîmes qui a donné un tour volontairement anecdotique aux observations qu’il a ajoutées au recueil d’arrêts de telle sorte que celui-ci devait probablement passer d’une certaine manière pour un ouvrage de vulgarisation. Mais c’est naturellement ce qui est susceptible de nous intéresser aujourd’hui : les passages substantiels sur la paillardise, sur les « règlements en temps de pestilence ». Il faut noter que l’ouvrage est complété par le traité des droits féodaux du même auteur, que l’on trouve très difficilement de manière séparée. Très rare édition début XVIème.

From internal evidence this ordination appears to be that of a Fr. John Keenan. Most of the photographs are held in clear six-to-a-page sleeves in a photo-binder of the time; most of the photos are approx. 3 3/4" x 5" size; some images are also laid-in loose and are of various formats with a few identified school photos.
