Pages i-xv & 16-479 plus errata page. As issued pages 290 to 295 are repeated in their numbering. There are previous owner's names penned in ink on the front endpaper. and a few ink notes. There is scattered foxing & light staining throughout with some creases. Good only. <p>The alphabetically arranged material which includes sections on bastardy bigamy dogs "it is not a felony to steal dogs which are of a base nature" the poor rape slaves women and wrecks gives quite a comprehensive view of society at the time.
