La crisi dei cosiddetti meta-racconti, delle grandi narrazioni legittimanti, ha lasciato il posto ad un ’tutto va bene’ che abolisce la possibilità del giudizio e l’esercizio della decisione. E la coscienza, soprattutto quella filosofica, sembra godere della propria irresponsabilità. Filo conduttore dei presente lavoro è, al contrario, che proprio la decadenza dei meta-racconti impone al pensiero l’assunzione di una responsabilità tanto più radicale quanto più priva di rassicurazione. Prendendo le mosse dall’esperienza di Auschwitz, segno della nostra attualità storica, evento in cui sprofonda il pensiero vigile e che costituisce tuttora il nostro più proprio ’impensato’, questo libro tenta di restituire alla filosofia quella ’dignità del pensare’ che, sola, ne giustifica la già incerta esistenza. Bruno Moroncini (Napoli 1946) è ricercatore presso il Dipartimento di Filosofia dell’Università di Napoli.
