Nel volume 4°, il quarto e il quinto fascicolo, con le pagine 828-852, presentano errori di rilegatura, con conseguenti salti nella numerazione: il testo è però assolutamente completo. Anche nel volume 6°, l'ultimo fascicolo, di 20 fogli, ospitante l'indice, brevi schede bibliografiche dei personaggi citati nel testo, le cronologie, la bibliografia e l'indice generale, è stato rilegato male: le quattro pagine con l'indice, che avrebbero dovuto trovarsi subito dopo l'ultimo fascicolo ospitante il testo (composto di 12 fogli, che si conclude con pagina 1476) risultano infatti postposte. Lasciata la Lega Lombarda, viene chiamato a Roma per dirigere un altro quotidiano cattolico, La Voce della Verita', diventando cosi' uno dei piu' famosi giornalisti cattolici italiani, tanto che, quattro anni dopo, gli sara' chiesto direttamente da Papa Leone XIII di trasferirsi a Firenze per assumere la direzione dell?'Unita' Cattolica, il celebre quotidiano fondato da don Giacomo Margotti. Per Sacchetti il comandamento 'Non desiderare la roba d'altri' rappresenta la soluzione della questione sociale.
