Programme du Parti Communiste Brésilien (PCB) rédigé à l'occasion du IVe Congrès de la section brésilienne de l'Internationale (PC-SBIC) tenu du 7 au 11 novembre 1954. Cette année, c'est un PCB encore clandestin, car interdit par l'Estado Novo, qui se remet sur pied pour élaborer un "Programme Socialiste pour le Brésil" et approuver de nouveaux statuts. Sommaire du programme : I) Le Brésil sous le joug croissant des impérialistes nord-américains ; II) Le gouvernement actuel des propriétaires fonciers et des grands capitalistes est un instrument des impérialistes nord-américains ; III) La révolution agraire et anti-impérialiste est inévitable, le remplacement du gouvernement des propriétaires fonciers et des grands capitalistes par un gouvernement démocratique de libération nationale ; IV) Forger dans la lutte le plus large front uni anti-impérialiste et anti-féodal. Idéologiquement basé sur les principes du marxisme-léninisme, le PCB fut fondé en mars 1922 et jouit, à son pic, d'une forte influence dans les cercles syndicaux et étudiants. Interdit plusieurs fois, il fut chaque fois re-légalisé, ce qui lui donne une histoire hautement controversée. Depuis 1927, l'aile jeunesse du PCB est organisée au sein de l'Union de la jeunesse communiste (UJC). Por diversas vezes, foi colocado na ilegalidade e posteriormente legalizado novamente, razão pela qual sua história permanece em grande processo de disputa. O PCB foi a matriz da qual emergiram uma série de partidos importantes na dinâmica política brasileira, tais como o Movimento Revolucionário Oito de Outubro (MR8), sendo que três partidos políticos com registro no TSE afirmam ser seus legítimos sucessores: o Cidadania, antigo Partido Popular Socialista (PPS), o Partido Comunista Brasileiro (PCB) atual e o Partido Comunista do Brasil (PCdoB).
