Flynn 1882-1964 responds to critics of his 1949 book "The Road Ahead: America's Creeping Revolution" in which he alleged America was being led down the road to socialism.</p><p>In this pamphlet he attacks Protestant church organizations saying they promote socialism. He also levels attacks at various people he considers socialists communists and fellow travelers. OCLC FirstSearch shows only six institutional holdings. SCARCE. <br /><br />CONDITION: Toning to wrappers rubber stamp of free-market economist Percy L. Greaves Jr. to upper wrapper. Internally clean bright and unmarked. First Edition First Printing. <br /><br />Small Octavo 7 3/4 x 5 1/2 inches; 195 x 138 mm 71 1 pages in stapled pictorial wrappers.<p>The author gets right down to business in the first line of this pamphlet: "We are at war with communism!" Published during the Korean War the pamphlet says communism is trying to dominate the world. Van Hemert also says capitalism is far superior to communism and notes the Soviets haven't been able to deliver a decent standard of living to their own citizens. Profusely illustrated by Vernon Lind including the cover.<br /></p><p>This pamphlet is scarce. OCLC shows only three institutional holdings at Michigan Northern Michigan and Utah State. Later printing.</p><p><br />French translation of the best-known book by the German Marxist theoretician Karl Kautsky 1854-1938. <br /><br />Kautsky's book analyzes the development of capitalism and outlines the nature of a future socialist society. According to Kautsky the victory of socialism and the working class was inevitable. <br /><br />This work first appeared in German in 1892 Das Erfurter Programm in seinem grundsätzlichen Theil erläutert and is usually known in English as The Class Struggle. Kautsky added a short preface to the first French edition in 1909 and made some changes to the text. The present edition was issued in 1927 by Librairie Marcel Rivière which published and sold socialist texts. <br /><br />PHYSICAL DETAILS: Small Quarto 9 x 5.6 inches; 230 x 142 mm pps. v 1 240 in brown printed wrappers soft cover. <br /><br />CONDITION: Light wear to the wrappers. Un volume (20 cm) di 320 pagine. In lingua francese. Brossura editoriale blu con titolo alla copertina. Resoconto stenografico del processo staliniano a Rajk. Ottime condizioni. --Tra il 1946 ed il 1948 Rajk fu Ministro degli interni del Governo comunista ungherese e durante questo periodo si distinse particolarmente come uno dei più brutali carnefici al servizio dello stalinismo, di cui successivamente fu vittima. Arrestato il 16 giugno 1949, nell'ottobre del 1949 fu condannato a morte per alto tradimento, insieme ad altri esponenti comunisti, ed impiccato. Secondo l'accusa, Rajk avrebbe complottato con il Vaticano, con Tito e con gli Stati Uniti per rovesciare il governo comunista ungherese. Sette anni più tardi, l'allora segretario del Partito Comunista ungherese Mátyás Rákosi annunciò che il processo Rajk, come altri, era basato su accuse false riabilitandolo.
