Otherwise text clean and complete binding tight and attractive. <br /> <br /> First edition of this important early biography of Cromwell offering a relatively sympathetic account of his military and civil career issued in the year of the Stuart Restoration. This work has been attributed to Henry Fletcher and William Raybould the publishers. There was a second edition in 1680 but the first remains quite scarce in the trade. <br /> <br /> ESTC R18473.
