This is No. 1112 of an unknown number signed by Helen Aron the photographer. Parktown was an upper-class suburb of Johannesburg South Africa begun in 1894. Scarce. Solander box has gilt title on spine and gilt illustration on front. inside is as oft-cover book 400x12mm 113pp is very fine and so are the 51 loose sepia prints 399x300mm suitable for framing. Number 16 has been mounted on a backing board; and # 32 has been edge trimmed both ready for framing. Prints are of old photographs and modern views.
